Suite 1313 Hotel Murder Mystery Runs to October 31

By Date Spark team · Published

Suite 1313: The Thirteen Club Mystery runs from October 8 to 31, 2026, in Room 1313 of the Delta Hotel Vancouver Downtown Suites, and its fine print reads less like a thriller than a set of condo bylaws.

A collaborative case in Room 1313

Vancouver Mysteries bills it as a collaborative murder mystery with escape room style challenges, which in theory retires the escape room tradition of one person hoarding every clue while everyone else interrogates a padlock. 604 Now reported on October 14, 2026 that the experience is a partnership between the downtown hotel and the local experience company, so the crime scene has both building management and an events committee. Membership is 19+, although minors can take part through private bookings.

Two to book, four to run

Sessions run daily at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with some blackout dates, and the attendance rules read like a strata bylaw: a booking needs at least two guests, a time slot needs at least four to run, and the cap is eight, or 10 for private bookings. Until four people show up, in other words, nobody can second the motion that a murder has occurred. You can book online or by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, and your detective calls the meeting to order in the lobby at 550 West Hastings Street.

$65 with a drink and a shared board

Tickets are $65 per person plus fees, tax and server gratuity, and include one house beer or house wine per guest and a Stock Board for every two guests. That matches the price of the company's regular mystery dining experiences in the hotel lobby lounge, so moving the case into the suite carries no special levy. Inside, the bylaws get strict: no food or drink in Suite 1313, which is why you should allow at least 2.5 hours, since the dining portion has to convene somewhere the snacks are allowed. On payment, the rules are refreshingly brief: promo codes do not apply and gift certificates are not sold.

Until October 31, the Thirteen Club convenes three times a day, blackouts and quorum permitting. Bring the person who names the killer halfway through every crime drama: this is the one meeting where interrupting with a theory is the whole agenda.
