Beaucoup Creamery Launches New Soft Serve Menu at Oakridge
Every dessert date hits the same fork in the road: one of you wants ice cream, the other wants cake, and somebody ends up guarding a shared spoon. Beaucoup Creamery, the ice cream sibling of Beaucoup Bakery, has rolled out a new menu at Time Out Market Vancouver in Oakridge Park that tops some of its soft serve with a mini slice of cake, the Georgia Straight reported on October 26, 2026.
What's on Beaucoup Creamery's new menu
Pastry chef Betty Hung, who co-owns Beaucoup with her brother Jacky, created the menu, and the Straight reports it blends their French pastry know-how with Asian flavours they grew up eating. The headliner is the Oeuf d'Or: classic soft serve with pork floss, mochi pieces and a salted duck egg yolk custard sauce. It's the dessert version of a date who orders something you've never heard of, and five minutes later you're asking for a bite.
The rest of the fall menu posted on Time Out Market's site: La Goyave (guava compote, lychee gelée, lime sugar), the Flan Parisien (housemade vanilla custard, crispy butter biscuit, caramel, Maldon salt), a Hazelnut Opera sundae with a mini slice of opera cake and a chocolate-coated coffee bean, and a Mango Yuzu sundae with yuzu curd, passion fruit crunch and a mini slice of yuzu cake. There's also a Croustillant Glacé ice cream sandwich with blond chocolate croustillant, feuilletine and sablé pieces, plus matcha, espresso and Earl Grey affogatos.
Hours, prices and where to find it
Beaucoup Creamery is inside Time Out Market at Oakridge Park, 650 West 41st Avenue. The market's listing gives its hours as Sunday to Thursday 11am to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm. Prices aren't on the published menu or in the Straight's report, so check the board at the counter. Plain sweet cream soft serve with a French butter or chocolate dip is still on, and the Straight says a build-your-own sundae is coming soon.
Is it a good date?
For a low-pressure first or second date, we think so. Dessert is the easiest date to end gracefully and the easiest one to stretch out, and a menu this unusual hands you a conversation topic that isn't work. If it were us, we'd go on a weeknight after dinner, order the Oeuf d'Or and the Flan Parisien to share, and add an espresso affogato if things are going well.
Worst case, one of you learns that sweet and savoury in the same spoon isn't for them, which is useful to know before anyone meets the parents.
