Spooky Pop-Up Market Hits Heritage Hall Oct. 31

Okay, confession: we love a market that asks nothing of you except showing up. Made in the 604's Spooky Pop-Up Market takes over Heritage Hall at 3102 Main Street in Vancouver on October 31 and November 1, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM both days, with more than 50 local small business vendors and free admission.

Free entry, no RSVP and dogs welcome

Here's the easy part: admission is free and you don't need to RSVP. If you do sign up through the market's RSVP button, you're entered for a chance to win Market Money, which is about as low-effort as a contest gets. The markets are pet-friendly too, so the dog can come (and the dog won't judge what you spend, which is more than we can say for most friends).

Expect art, handmade goods, apparel, treats and small gifts from BC small businesses, plus the chance to chat with the people who actually made them. The vendor lineup is shared on Made in the 604's Instagram, @madeinthe604, so check there first if you're hunting for something specific.

More Made in the 604 markets through December

If Halloween weekend is already spoken for, the same organizer has a full run lined up. The Fall Pop-Up Market is at The Pipe Shop, 115 Victory Ship Way in North Vancouver, on November 7 and 8, and the Winter Pop-Up Market returns there November 14 and 15, both 12 PM to 6 PM. The Winter Pop-Up Market then comes back to Heritage Hall on November 21 and 22, 11 AM to 5 PM, and the Fort Langley Holiday Market runs Sunday, November 29, at Fort Langley Hall, 9167 Glover Road, 11 AM to 5 PM, indoors and out.

For the long game, the Lonsdale Quay Holiday Market Series at 123 Carrie Cates Ct in North Vancouver runs on selected dates from November 21 to December 23, with the indoor market open 11 AM to 7 PM. The outdoor hours change by day, so check the Made in the 604 site for the exact schedule before you head over.

Is the Halloween market worth it?

Halloween afternoon at Heritage Hall makes an easy, low-pressure date. It's free, it wraps at 5 PM, and wandering a room full of handmade stalls gives you plenty to talk about besides the usual first-date questions. Then you're free for whatever your Halloween night involves, costume or no costume. Can't make Saturday? Sunday, November 1 runs the same hours.
