Cougar Creek's House of Horrors Returns to Surrey
Cougar Creek's House of Horrors in Surrey opened for the 2026 season on Friday, October 2, according to a report published September 29, 2026, and the haunt runs through November 1 at 12530 72nd Ave.
Five Haunted Houses and a Stage Show
The 2026 lineup includes five separate haunted houses plus nightly stage shows hosted by a character the venue calls Dandy of the Dead, complete with prizes and giveaways for anyone brave enough to stick around. There is a boutique selling custom merch, including t-shirts, hats, beanies, belt buckles and stickers, because nothing says I survived a monster maze quite like a belt buckle. Concessions include a snack the venue has branded Devil Dogs, presumably named before anyone thought too hard about what that implies.
Getting There Without a Car
The attraction sits at 12530 72nd Avenue in Surrey, with free on-site parking and a stop for the R6 Rapid Bus Line directly out front, so skipping the car is realistic if you'd rather not hunt for a spot. The haunt is not recommended for children under 14, and anyone 13 or younger needs an adult chaperone, which keeps this firmly in date-night territory rather than family-outing territory.
Whisper Night Closes the Season
The run ends November 1 with Whisper Night, a separate format listed on the venue's own calendar where the lights go off entirely and guests navigate by a single candle. For couples, that candlelit finale is arguably the better test of nerve than the regular nights, since nobody can blame the strobe lighting for not noticing who grabbed whose hand first.
