Chapel Sound's Constellation Festival Runs Nov. 12 to 15

Ever left a screening and spent the walk home nodding, quietly hoping the other person followed it better than you did? Chapel Sound Art Foundation's first Constellation Festival builds the conversation into the night. It runs November 12 to 15, 2026, at The Polygon Gallery, the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre and Atelier254, mixing film, electronic music and movement, according to a Stir report on October 22, 2026.

What's on opening and closing night?

The festival opens November 12 at The Polygon Gallery, 7 pm to 9 pm, with Indonesian filmmaker Rizky Rahad's House of R3nc0ng: Queer Worldbuilding Amidst the Fire. You get an artist talk, a screening and a conversation, moderated by Love Intersections and co-presented with SILKWORMS.

Rahad is back for the closing program on November 15 at Atelier254, 6 pm to 10 pm, with Alger Ji-Liang for ROT IS A FORM OF REBELLION: Queer Cinema and the Politics of Decay.

What happens in between?

On November 13, the Roundhouse hosts an electronic music concert co-presented by Fountains and Notebook. November 14 is an experimental movement battle with Barangay Project, judged by Simran Sachar and Su-Feh Lee. Good news if your dancing peaked at a cousin's wedding: only the people in the battle get judged. Start times for these two nights weren't in the announcement.

How do you get tickets?

Tickets and the full schedule are through Chapel Sound. Prices weren't in the announcement and more artists are still to be announced, so check there before you pick a night.

Which night should you pick?

If you both like a night out that gives you something to talk about, we'd start with the November 12 opening. A clear two-hour window makes it an easy plan to suggest and an easy one to say yes to, and you'll be out by 9 with the whole conversation still ahead of you.
