A woolly mammoth, a walkable old BC town you can actually wander through, and a First Peoples gallery that'll stop you cold.
More infoEvery date hits the 'what should we do' wall, and the Royal BC Museum is the relief. They've installed a life-size woolly mammoth, then an eerily faithful old BC town beside it that you can wander through, cobblestones and shopfronts included. The First Peoples gallery of carved poles stops you mid-sentence. Plan three hours, then argue over coffee about which exhibit won. It's the Inner Harbour's most-loved attraction, deservedly.
