The Vancouver International Film Festival returns October 1 to 11, 2026, and its programme is ready to browse. That gives you time to choose a film together before the annual ritual of sending each other trailers and booking absolutely nothing. Consider this your intervention.
Choose a film, not a personality test
VIFF's 45th festival includes cinema, live performances, talks and special events. Start with the official programme and agree on the kind of evening you want.
