Harmony Arts might be the most romantic festival setting in Metro Vancouver: for ten days the Ambleside waterfront strings together free sunset concerts at John Lawson and Millennium Parks, an artisan market along Argyle Avenue, and wine and beer gardens facing the water. The date is almost embarrassing in its ease, browse the market, claim a patch of grass as the light goes gold over the harbour, and let whoever is on stage do the rest. Most of it is free; the culinary events ticket separately.
