More infoTurnover make the kind of warm, hazy guitar music that suits a cold November Wednesday. The Virginia band's Down On Earth Tour hits the Commodore Ballroom on November 18, with Ticketmaster listing a 6:30pm start. It's 19+. When we checked, there was a $30 promotional ticket alongside $66.25 adult tickets, so look before you assume the higher price. The early start flips the usual order: show first, dinner after. That opens up a late table on Davie, where Jeon does chef-driven modern Korean, or a nightcap at the Piano Lounge at Bacchus, five minutes from the Commodore.
Buy on Ticketmaster (19+; we saw $30 and $66.25 tickets). The show starts early, so have a snack beforehand and book a later table at Jeon on Davie Street for after. If you just want a drink, the Piano Lounge at Bacchus is five minutes away.
From 6:30pm, late
