This is the polished mid-rise across the road from the beach, and the rooms are genuinely useful: 378 square feet, a proper kitchenette, and, in the Double Queen units, a balcony pointed at either the lake or the mountains. You can make morning coffee while staring at Harrison Lake, which covers most of what a getaway actually requires.
The hotel is partway through a three-phase renovation, with the first two phases complete, so the redone suites feel new while a few holdouts await their turn. Downstairs there is an indoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, and Morgan's Bistro, which spares you the arduous forty-second walk to the village's other restaurants.
There is no hot spring on the property, but the village's public mineral pool is a short stroll away, and the beach, the lagoon, and the lakefront promenade start at the front door. Booking sites score it in the high eights, and its own website claims the top TripAdvisor spot in town, a claim the reviews mostly let stand.

160 Esplanade Avenue in the centre of the village, directly across the road from the beach and lagoon, a short walk from the public mineral pool and the lakefront promenade.
Getting there
The same simple run: Highway 1 east from Vancouver, exit 135, Highway 9 north through Agassiz, about 90 minutes to two hours with no ferries. The hotel has secure outdoor and underground parking. No realistic car-free option exists, so plan on driving.
