More infoBonobo's live show is the electronic gig for people who say they don't like electronic gigs. Simon Green brings the Distance in Static Live tour to the PNE Forum on Monday, November 16, with 1-800 GIRLS in support. TicketLeader lists doors and show at 6:30pm. General admission was $73.80 when we checked, fees included, and the 19+ VIP section was $103.32. It's an all-ages show, and price levels move up as each tier sells. Hastings Park is out east, so build the night around it. Dachi on East Hastings does natural wine and Pacific Northwest plates about fifteen minutes away by car or bus, and it's a far better pre-show than a stadium hot dog. Peya, a French-Indian brasserie in Hastings-Sunrise, is the other good bet.
Buy through TicketLeader (general admission $73.80, VIP 19+ $103.32 when we checked). Eat early at Dachi or Peya, both in East Vancouver, because doors are 6:30pm. The Forum is in Hastings Park; transit along Hastings is easier than hunting for parking.
