Broke & Bougie
170 vendors, live music, and zero entry fee every Sunday in Miramar Village. The plan writes itself.
From mid-April to mid-October, Miramar Village and Johnston Road close down every Sunday for one of the biggest farmers markets in the region: 170-plus vendors of produce, baked goods, prepared food, and crafts, every week, for free. The live music threads through the whole market automatically, which means you get a soundtrack without negotiating over a playlist. Bring the dog. Graze through the stalls. Have a mild, very important debate about whether a second pastry counts as lunch. This is the date where the plan is grazing and people-watching, and anyone who says that is not a plan is wrong. You can spend nothing or spend the whole morning. Both options are correct. Come hungry, on purpose, and with a reasonable number of tote bags.
