Six Friday evenings each summer, Downtown New West turns the Front Street Mews under the old rail overpass into a street party. There is a live stage, rotating food vendors, market stalls and beer from Steel and Oak, and each edition is built around a different cultural theme so no two repeat. It is free to walk in, two blocks from Columbia SkyTrain station, and the 2026 season runs 6pm to 10pm on August 7, 14 and 21. Come hungry, and finish on the Pier Park boardwalk a block away.
