Bento Cafe plans a second Vancouver location at 2156 West 41st Avenue in Kerrisdale, according to a September 28, 2026 report from Daily Hive. The cafe has announced the expansion on its own Instagram account, but has not yet given an opening date.
A second address for sushi and set meals
The cafe says the new location will offer Japanese teishoku, chef-crafted sushi and bento, alongside drinks and snacks. That is the announced direction, rather than a finished opening menu. Specific dishes and prices for Kerrisdale have not been published in the announcement. Your appetite can make a reservation in principle; your calendar will have to wait.
Bento already operates at 1822 West 1st Avenue in Kitsilano. Its own summer menu announcement on June 10 featured a Super Jumbo Hokke set and smoked aburi duck cha soba paired with a mini salmon ikura don set. Those are examples of what the existing cafe has offered, not a promise about what the Kerrisdale kitchen will serve. They also should not be read as a current availability list.
