The five-line guided zipline tour at Grouse Mountain clips you in and launches you across the valley between Grouse and Dam Mountain at up to 70 km/h, with Vancouver, the Strait, and the North Shore peaks spread out below in a way that makes you briefly forget whatever mildly stressful thing you were worried about this morning. The whole tour runs about two hours, and both of you will emerge from it insufferably proud. Book ahead because spots fill, note that Mountain Admission is not included in the zipline price, wear closed-toe shoes you won't mourn losing mid-flight, and plan for this to run roughly May through October, weather permitting. It is very hard to feel awkward on a first date when you are also screaming.
