Yoona's Café & Tapas Opens on Robson Street

By Date Spark · Published

Yoona's Café & Tapas quietly started serving on September 18, 2026, at 1471 Robson Street, according to an October 8, 2026 report from Noms Magazine, slipping into the West End with a menu that refuses to settle on one cuisine and hours that refuse to settle on one meal.

Two Restaurants, One Address

The hours split the day in two. Breakfast runs daily from 8am to 1pm, anchored by a $17 special of two eggs, toast and a choice of meat with fruit or hashbrowns. At 1pm the same room becomes a dinner spot built around tapas, handhelds, house pasta and shareable mains. It is a format that forces a decision before noon about whether tonight is a brunch relationship or a steak-at-nine relationship, then quietly lets you have it both ways on the same stretch of Robson.

A Menu That Skips Borders

Dinner does not commit to a flag. Aburi salmon nigiri ($18) sits on the same menu as Korean-style pork mandu with house soy dipping sauce ($18), a seafood rosé linguine with prawns, mussels and calamari ($24), and a 10-ounce Manhattan peppercorn steak with garlic mash ($39). The cafe notes that two pieces of ID may be requested, standard practice anywhere pouring drinks alongside dinner, so the one friend whose wallet is just a single crumpled ID should plan accordingly.
