Roots and Wings Launches Soju Eh in Langley

By Date Spark · Published

Roots and Wings Distillery in Langley is pouring Soju Eh?, its own take on Korean liqueur, at tastings running October 3 to November 1, 2026, inside the farm's on-site Drinkery tasting room.

The Liqueur Behind the Pun

Roots and Wings Distillery, a family spirits farm out in Langley, is spending October pouring its newest release: a Korean-style liqueur called Soju Eh?, a name that commits fully to the bit. The distillery describes it on its own site simply as its version of the Korean liqueur, which counts as refreshingly understated marketing for a spirit with a built-in pun. The tasting run was announced October 5, 2026, and continues through November 1, 2026, giving drinkers about four weeks to decide whether Canadian soju is cultural fusion or just a very good dad joke in bottle form.

Hours, Location and What's Free

The tasting happens at the Drinkery, the distillery's on-site tasting room at 7897 240th Street in Langley, where walk-ins are welcome and tastings are free. The room pours from a lineup of more than 50 spirits, with craft cocktails and light bites alongside the new liqueur, plus yard games set up outside for anyone who needs a break between pours. It is open Friday and Saturday from noon to 9 pm and Sunday from noon to 7 pm, closed Monday through Thursday.

Pets are allowed and blankets are welcome, and the Drinkery welcomes all ages.
